We are looking for proactive, adaptable and motivated planner with 5 years of utility/construction experience working closely with supervision, Project Managers, Analysts, and other Planners, performing typical Planner duties, utilizing all previously developed skills, experiences, and equipment.
Preferred Experience
· 5+ Years of Construction Management experience (or equivalent Site Rep 3 experience)
· Exceptional Construction Management skills
· Understand the construction processes
· Strong technical background in a multiple related fields (civil, electrical, wiring, grading construction) in substation construction
· Advanced Understanding of Substation equipment, and Transmission Power flow
· Skilled, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and associated products
Roles and Responsibilities
· Utilizing processes described in the Planning Manual
· Utilizing Schedule/Planning Manual direction to initiate planning process
· Obtaining drawings and specifications
· Performing site visits, determining material availability
· Ordering drawings, panels, site facilities
· Obtaining IT access to SAP (PREQS, timesheets), Cyberdocs, and SharePoint etc.
· Arranging and facilitating meetings and job-walks
· Functions as Project lead in Project Manager's absence
· Utilizing Schedule/Planning Manual direction to initiate planning process
· Performing site visits, determining material availability
· Logistics coordination for Material Delivery
· Developing agreement with Stakeholders
· Develops Comprehensive Construction Plans for execution of Capital Construction
· Develops Agreement with Stakeholders to successfully incorporate Job scope, and resources
· Identifies project needs, and determines availability with little to no guidance or direction
· Identifies complex construction issues, and provides solutions to Project Management, and Construction Management Team members
· Initiate/Coordinate move plans and outage request as assigned
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
