This Construction Project Manager will be overseeing multiple post-construction cleaning projects from award through completion. This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The Project Manager coordinates with clients, field supervisors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, resolve job-site issues, and uphold company standards for safety and performance. Public works construction jobs involve maintaining and improving community infrastructure, requiring a range of skills and responsibilities across various roles such as Public Works Employee, Project Engineer, and Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: perform maintenance tasks for public buildings, roads, parks, and other structures to ensure they are safe and functional.
- Project Management: oversee the investigation, design, maintenance, and construction of public works projects, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
- Field Inspections: Inspectors conduct inspections of public works projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards, and preparing progress reports.
- Skilled Labor: carry out skilled maintenance work, operating complex equipment for repairs and installations, and addressing public concerns.

Customer Service: will often interact with the community, addressing inquiries and complaints regarding public services. Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding scheduling, changes, and project status. Enforce company safety policies and ensure job sites comply with industry safety standards. Report and mitigate any safety violations, coordinating with the Safety Administrator. Ensure all necessary documentation, including site signoffs and warranties, is completed and stored properly
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
· 4-6 years of experience in construction management and public works.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
· Regular site visits and job walks, requiring mobility and awareness of safety protocols.
· Office environment with moderate noise levels.
· Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
Compensation: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
