Job Description:
Terravanta is seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Specialist II who will be responsible
for planning, coordinating, and overseeing temporary wayfinding, signage, and logistics strategies across multiple airport Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects with our Aviation Clients. This role ensures that construction activities, operational requirements, pedestrian circulation, and passenger experience are effectively integrated throughout project lifecycles. The position works closely with project teams, airport stakeholders, designers, contractors, and operations personnel to identify conflicts, mitigate impacts, and maintain safe, efficient, and intuitive wayfinding systems during construction and phased implementation.
Duties:

Program Logistics & Project Coordination
- Attend terminal, roadway, and airfield project meetings to evaluate schedule, space utilization, and operational impacts across the CIP program.
- Review new and ongoing projects to identify time, space, and logistical conflicts.
- Assess project impacts on airport operations, passenger flow, tenant activities, and adjacent construction projects.
- Lead logistics assessments and develop reports, recommendations, and communication materials regarding project impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and oversee ongoing logistics activities and implement adjustments as project conditions change.

Wayfinding Planning & Management
- Develop, implement, and manage temporary wayfinding systems that ensure safe and efficient passenger movement during construction activities.
- Create temporary signage, directional plans, maps, and path-of-travel solutions that enhance user experience.
- Evaluate signage requirements based on construction phasing, environmental conditions, operational constraints, and passenger expectations.
- Recommend appropriate sign types, locations, and messaging for individual projects.
- Ensure compliance with airport standards, accessibility requirements, branding guidelines, and industry best practices.

Project Review & Technical Analysis
- Review Phasing Plans and Site Logistics Plans submitted through ASR and LIR processes.
- Analyze project schedules, Gantt charts, construction sequencing, and design documentation.
- Identify wayfinding impacts and propose effective mitigation measures.
- Conduct site walks and field evaluations to verify installation effectiveness and identify necessary modifications.
- Track production, installation, and maintenance schedules for wayfinding elements across multiple projects.

Design & Communication
- Develop high-impact visual concepts, wayfinding plans, and presentation materials.
- Create layouts for maps, newsletters, flyers, stakeholder communications, and project updates.
- Apply principles of visual hierarchy, readability, consistency, and branding standards.
- Translate complex project information into clear and understandable visual communications.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Quality Assurance
- Review signage and wayfinding materials for quality, consistency, visual appeal, and compliance with project requirements.
- Verify installation accuracy and ensure materials remain effective throughout changing project conditions.
- Monitor and evaluate signage performance through regular field inspections and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements (Minimum):
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field.
- 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs.
- Software Expertise: Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint)
- Ability to conduct site inspections and field evaluations in active airport environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, airport operations staff, and executive stakeholders.

- Master's degree.
